Job Description
Overview
This is a night shift position.
The Manufacturing Training and Development Supervisor is responsible for
the development and facilitation of training to build capability of the
plant teams to increase productivity and reduce losses. Training
facilitation will be a combination of frontline hourly, salaried
non-managerial, and managerial personnel in a manufacturing and
warehouse location of 500 employees. The scope of the subject matter
will include development of strategic and tactical road map displaying
vision and milestones, standardized operating procedures, general
instructions, governance and compliance materials, new employee
onboarding, lean manufacturing and TPM methodologies. Responsible for
mentoring and leading up to six hourly associates.
Responsibilities
Lead OC team in developing training content for multiple learning
styles (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, read/writing)
Implement comprehensive training programs focused on Total Productive
Manufacturing (TPM) principles and methodologies.
Improve TE by reducing loss due to skillset (planned and unplanned
losses).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production,
maintenance, quality assurance, safety and Steering Team/TLT to ensure
alignment of training initiatives are within organizational goals and
objectives.
Identify training needs by conducting training needs analysis to
identify the training opportunities for associates.
Drive continuous improvement within the organization by leading
initiatives to refine and enhance training methodologies, content, and
delivery mechanisms based on feedback and lessons learned.
Communicate and share best practices across Hot-fill manufacturing
sites.
Lead, manage and optimize new hire orientation.
Compensation & Benefits:
The expected compensation range for this position is between
$60,000 – $100,500.
Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be
considered in setting actual starting salary.
Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 8% of
annual salary paid out annually.
Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave,
vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
3 years of Training and Development Expertise: Strong understanding
of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and
training techniques. Experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating
training programs.
Leadership Abilities: Ability to lead and motivate front line
Organizational Capability Pillar team and front-line trainers. Strong
leadership skills to inspire and guide trainers towards achieving
sitewide training objectives.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication
skills to effectively convey training content and instructions. Ability
to communicate with trainees, trainers, and other stakeholders clearly
and professionally.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage
multiple training programs simultaneously. Ability to prioritize tasks,
allocate resources efficiently, and meet deadlines.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport and establish
effective working relationships with colleagues, trainees, and
stakeholders. Empathy and patience to understand the diverse learning
needs of individuals.
Problem-solving Skills: Capacity to ide tify training gaps, assess
learning needs, and develop solutions to address them. Ability to
troubleshoot issues that arise during training sessions and adapt
quickly to unforeseen challenges.
Self-starter with ability to develop strategies in line with an
overall TPM vision.
Ability to work off shifts occasionally.
