Job Description
Individual will serve as a leader in developing global pipeline strategies and asset optimization for therapeutic neurotoxins. A key imperative will be to accelerate toxin pipeline strategy by expanding the neurotoxin platform into new therapeutic indications such that the asset value is maximized. As a Key strategic partner, this individual will contribute to the global strategy and asset prioritization in close partnership with development teams and regional area leads.
Key Responsibilities
Lead analysis of respective market and asset opportunities; identifying key segment value drivers, growth opportunities, target product profiles, product positioning and revenue potential to maximize the asset; and representing the analysis at milestone executive governance meetings
Drive development of early brand plans, including strategic positioning and early launch planning, by leveraging strategic insights through analysis of product, brand, customer, consumer, and competitive information
Support development of scientific platform and driving data generation to satisfy requirements for regional target product label and associated target product claims
Initiates geostrategy and indication prioritization for each asset in partnership with development teams and area affiliates
Champion asset strategies through the pipeline commercialization model and act as the conduit between discovery, development, and commercial teams, fostering information flow that optimizes asset opportunity
Build strong relationships with internal and external partners while leveraging expertise to strengthen the asset value proposition
Lead internal processes that accurately reflect asset opportunity and providing the necessary analysis and support for business needs, e.g. Long Range Plan, Lifecycle Management
Develop compelling presentations to convey diverse asset strategies to broad sets of stakeholder audiences, including senior executives via governance committees
Lead the Brand Strategy Team (BST) and function as the Therapeutic Toxin commercial voice at Therapeutic Asset Strategy Council (TASC), and Asset Strategy Team (AST) meetings with Neurotoxin and organizational leadership
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree; Advanced degree (MBA, Ph.D. or M.D.) is preferred
At least 10 years of relevant experience with a successful track record in pharmaceutical marketing – strong analytical and strategic marketing skills
Previous experience in Commercial Development, Pipeline Management, In-line Marketing and/or Pharma Consulting roles, preferably within Neuroscience
Experience in strategic positioning of products for success within competitive environments
Scientific acumen & therapeutic understanding, with the ability to analyze complex datasets
Strong financial acumen with a good understanding of P&L drivers and the ability to develop appropriate investment & sales forecasts
Deep understanding and experience of US &/or EU market access environments
Experience with launch &/or on-market commercial teams
Experience working within matrix-based teams and project management
Works collaboratively and proactively, maintains high degree of planning, coordination & project management skills, demonstrated ability to problem solve & resolve conflict with diplomacy
Builds strong relationships with peers and cross functional partners outside of immediate team
Self-starter, learns fast, quickly grasps the essence of concepts, can change course rapidly where required, demonstrates intellectual curiosity

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
