We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team. This position is open due to the departure of our previous accounting manager who managed weekly payroll. The role requires processing payroll weekly and submitting it every Tuesday. You will initiate payroll in Sage 100 Contractor and then import it into Paylocity to process checks and tax filings. Experience with LCP Tracker is a plus. You will also need to use Excel, specifically pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience in certified payroll. A degree is optional; relevant experience is more important. The industry background should be similar to ours.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Anaheim, California.

Work Environment

Onsite with the possibility of working from home 1-2 days a week. You will join a team of 2 and handle payroll for multiple departments including service, construction, and automation. Most team members are based in CA, with a Nevada branch and some work in TX. You will be managing payroll for 100 employees. Typical hours are 8-5 with some flexibility. The interview process includes a 15-20 minute phone screening followed by an in-person interview.
