About the Role:
A Healthcare Reg Team Lead, Sr. is responsible for a team of Business Development Officers with the emphasis around growth in the new markets, creating a consistent sales deliverable is germane to our efforts. The Sr. Healthcare Regional Team Lead has responsibility for the management and operational control of the team with the approval and guidance of the Director of Healthcare Banking.
Manage the overall level of performance and profitability of their team
Adhere to the annual budget and business plan that support corporate, Wealth Management, and Private/Healthcare division objectives
Ensure alignment of the team’s initiatives with those of the Wealth Management group and organization-wide strategies and goals
Report on the activities of the assigned office to senior management of the Private/Healthcare Banking division
Lead and mentor direct reports
Identify market opportunities and coordinate activities to direct growth of the Private/Healthcare Banking customer base and penetration of existing customers
Coordinate business development efforts of Relationship Managers, analysts, and support staff
Monitor and coordinate activities to ensure all compliance and audit requirements are implemented and met
Supervise and implement efforts to promote office efficiencies and innovation
Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
Maintain a working knowledge of Banks written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.
Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Umpqua corporate culture in all actions and words.

About You:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience,required.
5years ofexperience in private/healthcare banking, required.
Effective leader who can work collaboratively with leadership across the Bank.
Knowledge of thehigh-net-worthmarketplace and credit products
Sound operational and risk management knowledge
Strong financial acumen and analytical abilities
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Ability to travel
Workstyle: Fully onsite.

We offer a competitive total rewards package including basewagesand comprehensive benefits. Thepayrange for this role is$127,000.00- $182,000.00,and the pay rate for theselected candidate isdependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The rolemay beeligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
