A senior level role for the Software Development Engineer, Mobile job family. This role focuses on building mobile applications for Android and iOS devices. You are a seasoned, experienced, fully functioning member of the mobile development team. You understand and apply a wide variety of concepts, practices and procedures of software engineering, and can resolve a wide range of issues with mobile development in creative ways. At this level, you are a specialist in at least one mobile development area. You mentor other engineers. You set and meet commitments, deadlines, and high standards for the team. You communicate proactively and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. You are able to work collaboratively and independently but ask for general guidance on new projects or unfamiliar areas. You create functional and technical designs and are often the lead on high complexity tasks or features. You demonstrate good judgment and use your expertise in selecting methods and techniques for developing solutions that are robust, reliable, testable, and maintainable from an operations perspective.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, Information Science, Software Engineering, Software Development, or other related scientific or engineering fields. Or equivalent educ/experience

6 years Developing software with mobile development languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, or Objective-C.

6 years Working with mobile application frameworks such as the AndroidiOS SDKs and related architecture components such as Activities and FragmentsView Controllers.

6 years Working with mobile application state handling such as MVC, MVP, MVVM, and DI frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters Degree Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, Information Science, Software Engineering, Software Development, or other related scientific or engineering fields. Or equivalent educ/experience

2 years Setting up multi-configuration mobile build and publishing tools like GradleLLVM, high-level build automation like FastLane and cloud-based CI/CD like Bitrise.
