THIS POSITION AND POSTING ARE SUBJECT TO A COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT (CBA). UNION MEMBERS CAN BE DISPATCHED DIRECTLY FROM THE AFFILIATED UNION WITHIN 72-HOURS OF THE POSITION POSTING.

The Clerk II GFEBS will work under direct supervision and guidance, provide clerical support for Management Staffing including Department Supervisors and Designated Leads. Receives, records, and distributes work orders to the appropriate departments.

Responsibilities

Receive, input, and forward all service orders to the appropriate shop.

Record information, such as name, address, item to be repaired, or service to be rendered.

Prepare work orders and dispatch trouble calls to appropriate personnel within the allotted time frame.

Dispatch orders and relay messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments, using radio/telephone equipment.

Maintains logs and records containing service calls, work control and inventory.

Sorts and distributes service tickets or material to workers.

Provides positive and cheerful reception via written and verbal communication to customers and staff.

Ability to create special reports through manual and data processing information sources such as Microsoft Excel as requested by the Management Staff or Government.

In the absence of the GFEBS Clerk IV, the ability to enter hours and materials daily into GFEBS for scheduled and unscheduled work orders.

Maintains facility files by contract requirements in a neat, orderly and timely manner.

Supports the project Safety Plan through personal involvement in all aspects of safety, including training and attention to the adherence to safety requirements pertaining to particular trades or skills.

This position may be designated as Mission Critical as required by the company to meet contract requirements.

This position may be part of an emergency management/response team as required by the company to meet contract requirements.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum one (1) year experience with MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook) products.

Minimum one (1) year of Customer Service experience in an office setting, preferred.

Valid U.S. Driver’s license and be deemed insurable under company policy.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to meet eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain the required government security clearance.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint at intermediate level.

Ability to use good judgment and common sense when performing job functions.

Possess patience to work under stressful conditions.

Ability to maintain detailed logs under competing priority environments, ex: Multiple phone calls or info requests from leads/supervisors.

Ability to answer multiple telephone lines.

Ability to maintain files in a neat and orderly manner.

Ability to communicate articulately and professionally with Government, military, and civilian customers.

Ability to read, write and receive written and/or verbal instructions in English and to communicate information clearly and concisely, using written and verbal skills.

Ability to use forms and databases to provide monthly GFEBS reports to the Government or Project Site Manager.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee may use repeated motions that include the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers.
