Specimen Handler

Specimen HandlerJob Responsibilities!

Specimen handlers will take samples from processors after labelling and bring to handling area

Bring samples to centrifuging area

Will be handling the enclosed samples with PPE but do not directly touch open swabs/perform tests on the samples

Support urine pour offs prior to testing

Move samples between building, sometimes walking outside between other labs on campus to cart or carry samples around

Skills & Qualifications!

Previous handling experience (warehouse, inventory, stocking experience)

Previous overnight experience

Ability to be on your feet for majority of shift
