Job Description
The product packager is responsible for packing and/or boxing product for shipment to fulfill work orders and providing the final inspection point of the order.
Essential Functions:
1. Ensures that all the orders are accurately boxed with correct products, packing materials, and correct label(s).
2. Assembles or selects the appropriate box for the order.
3. Examines and inspects material and product for defects and to ensure that packing specifications are met.
4. Reads orders to verify compliance to special customer requirements.
5. Prints packing slip and attaches to box with shipping envelope (or uses customer provided packing slip when applicable).
6. Keeps packaging area clean and tidy daily. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
