What youll be doing…
The Senior Product Development Manager of Home Execution for Consumer Segment Marketing will be responsible for leading the end-to-end execution and delivery of Fios, FWA, and legacy wireline marketing initiatives for the Verizon Consumer Growth & Revenue Organization. These projects will impact all consumer touchpoints and will cover advancements to pricing, value proposition, promotion, base engagement and loyalty programs, and new product developments and launches. This is a high-impact role focused on delivering the solutions that will enable Verizon Consumer growth initiatives for home subscriber and revenue plans. The Senior Product Development Manager will be a solution-oriented, dynamic leader, who can think creatively to leverage a deep understanding of Verizon Home Internet and Mobile systems and a pragmatic partnership approach to influence stakeholder groups to implement solutions that deliver exceptional experiences for our customers and prospects. This leader will work collaboratively across the Growth & Revenue Organizations extended cross functional teams including segment, base, and product marketing strategy, design, Omni customer experience, technology systems and product development, 3rd party content partners, customer service, and more.

Lead and collaborate with large cross functional teams including key partners like IT, external partners and internal testing to ensure all impacted parties understand capabilities and constraints related to the program to ensure components are delivered as flawlessly as possible

Directly partner with and lead a diverse team of managers, and cross-functionally steer the broader organizations involved in Go-To-Market delivery for Verizon Home initiatives across value prop, product, promotions and more

Perform rigorous project management activities with a high sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment by managing key milestones and deliverables to ensure on time implementation and post-launch issue resolution

Perform customer experience assessments for all customer interactions and provide input on customer/user experience designs & their impacts on business stakeholders and results

Write and review business requirements pertaining to new pricing initiatives, promotions, Federal and State compliance mandates, audit and reporting activities to ensure accurate build and execution

Understand the business case for proposed value propositions, promotions, and new products, and how they impact Verizon, as well as supporting the operational impacts of our execution strategies and outputs

Evaluate opportunities to enhance current programs, as well as, create new opportunities for differentiation and champion new value proposition and pricing ideas to determine high level feasibility when compared with other business priorities

Bachelors degree or four or more years of work experience

Six or more years of relevant work experience
Even better if you have one or more of the following:

Masters degree – more impressive if you have an MBA

Knowledge of Verizon systems and operations, IT (writing program requirements, Agile work structure) and network processes

Experience writing marketing and technical requirements

Experience in cross-functional management and operating in a multi-stakeholder environment, managing multiple projects and priorities at once. Demonstrated performance in a matrixed, consensus-based organization where successful collaboration and communication are required at all levels

History in creating a positive, growth-oriented team culture, where individual contributors thrive and continuously improve their skills

Superior verbal and written communication skills
