Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Reporting Manager to join our NHSc Finance Controlling and Reporting Team as a Reporting Team Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team that prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual internal corporate reports for submission to our parent company, Nestlé SA. Additionally, you will analyze various complex accounting transactions.
As the Reporting Leader, you will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement within the team. You will be expected to leverage new digital solutions to enhance efficiency, promote first-time quality, and engage proactively with stakeholders to ensure timely submission of reports. This is a remote position with occasional travel expected (approximately 8-10 times per year) within the United States. However, preference will be given to candidates who are local to the NJ/NY metro area and have the flexibility to meet at our headquarters in Bridgewater, NJ.
Responsibilities:
Own the management, review, and preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting – including income statement, balance sheet, and the relevant supporting schedules
Lead Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for engagement with EY auditors for planning, coordination and successful audit conclusion for half year, year-end audits
Support business teams and various functions (tax, legal, treasury, supply chain etc.), for all technical accounting guidance and implementation of any new guidelines
Support for all restructuring provisions, impairments, and other one-off items requiring approval from the Group
Coaching and developing the Finance & Control team to help them reach their full potential through individual coaching, training, and career development
Work with Nestlé SA (Swiss Head office) Group Accounting & Reporting teams to enhance and implement new reporting systems
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance or similar field
Certified Public Accountant ( CPA)
5years of sustainable high performance in Finance and Technical Reporting required, including a minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in a Corporate Reporting, Public Accounting Firms with GAAP or IFRS requirements
3 years people management experience
Proficient in Financial Reporting / Consolidation systems, preparation of Financial Statements with end to end understanding
Proficient of International Financial Reporting Systems (IFRS)/ US GAAP with ability to research complex issues and document for review & approvals by Group Accounting & Reporting and External Auditor’s
Strong Internal Controls experience
Ability to reengineer processes and automate manual processes using RPA, Altyrex, PowerBI and other dashboard tools
Advanced knowledge of Excel and other analytical tools
Skills:
Strong analytical skills and documentation skills
Solid networking skills to manage relationships with business partners
Capability to manage several priorities and projects simultaneously
Results focused, a self-starter with strong initiative, naturally inquisitive, able to think independently, can deal with ambiguity and has a desire to make a difference
The approximate pay range for this position is $125,000- $145,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
