We are looking for a Sterile Processing Supervisor for our facility in Bethpage. NY
This is a permanent, full-time job, (37.5 hrs/week), 10pm-6am with rotating holidays and weekends.
In this role you would be supervising and coordinating a team of 15 people within a hospital in the sterilization process.
An ideal candidate would have an associate degree and current Registered Central Supply Technician Certification, as well as relevant experience and a supervisory experience.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Leading sterile processing goals by leading and training team members.
Schedule and assign tasks to team members, supervise functions in decontamination and sterile work areas.
Inspect case cart requisitions for accuracy and coordinate transport of cart to necessary facilities.
Maintain inventory and stock.
Make certain sterilization activities are properly documented.
Monitors the use of proper techniques through the instrumentation processing, preparation and packaging areas.

When determining a team members base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g. location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget, and internal equity).
The salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000/year
