oriented Bookkeepers Assistant to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting our
Bookkeeper with daily financial tasks and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records.
Position Overview:
The Bookkeeper Assistant will work closely with the Bookkeeper to assist in managing our
financial operations. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including data entry, account
reconciliation, and assisting with financial reporting. This role offers an excellent opportunity to
gain hands-on experience in accounting and bookkeeping within a thriving automotive sales
environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily data entry of financial transactions into accounting software.
Support the preparation and processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Help maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare and organize financial documents for review and filing.
Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and statements.
Handle routine administrative tasks related to bookkeeping, such as filing and
correspondence.
Communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal staff regarding financial
matters.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a bookkeeping or administrative role is a plus but not required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with
accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is desirable.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Basic understanding of accounting principles is an advantage.
High school diploma or equivalent; some coursework or certification in accounting or
finance is a plus.
