Your Day-to-Day:
The Maintenance and Reliability position is a new role within the Operational Excellence function of Global Manufacturing (GMFG). This position is responsible for development of the maintenance and reliability strategy and framework within a lean manufacturing environment, for facilitating deployment in partnership with manufacturing sites, and for leading root cause investigations and generation of actions and solutions. Travel will be required for this position.
Assess the current state of preventative and predictive maintenance programs, determine opportunities for improvement, and partner with manufacturing sites in implementing improvements.
Assess operational maintenance programs (lubrication practices, operator asset care, training). Partner with sites in implementing improvements.
Provide asset maintenance, reliability and outage expertise and guidance as well as TPM training
Develop and track metrics and KPIs related to equipment downtime and proper function and the impact on OEE, yield, process quality, throughput, and productivity.
Assist Operations management to implement and maintain audit and control systems of operator autonomous maintenance programs
Assist in troubleshooting and developing solutions for chronic or high priority equipment issues.
Lead root cause analysis investigations and FMEAs and recommend actions and solutions.
Facilitate Kaizen style TPM events to restore to new and implement operator autonomous maintenance routines to maintain optimal function.
Facilitate spare parts strategy development and implementation.
Ensure that best practices and innovative technology are leveraged in preventative and predictive maintenance strategies.
Optimize use of CMMS to drive maintenance performance tracking and improvement.

Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

Bachelors degree in engineering or related field.

5 years of experience in reliability engineering in a manufacturing environment.

Certified Six-Sigma Black Belt and/or Certified Manufacturing Engineer (SME CMfgE) or PMI certification preferred.
Exceptional initiative, leadership by influence, collaboration, and communication skills.
Expertise in technical aspects of preventative and predictive maintenance strategies and in creating and implementing them.
Extensive experience with root cause analysis (RCA), reliability centered maintenance (RCM), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and CMMS programs.
Demonstrated ability to drive improvements with measurable results in a manufacturing environment and the ability to deliver on multiple projects.
Demonstrated program management, problem-solving and continuous improvement skills.
