Lead Technical Analyst – Release Management (Remote)

PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for the lead the execution of the software release management function in the organization. The position is charged with facilitating approval processes, providing on-going communications, documentation and process update support for a software development team. This position may include the following duties: enhancement and execution of the release management processes, assist with development, review and distribution of release deliverables for internal and external stakeholders, creation of emails, release documents, PowerPoint presentations and release calendars. Lead cross-departmental and cross-functional team interaction and collaboration.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Documenting and communicating release content, and publishing release documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Facilitating and coordinating with technical teams for all release related tasks, defect tracking, and other release change activities.

Develop, maintain, and innovate release management processes, procedures, and standards.

Develop and maintain release calendars and timelines.

Coordinate with stakeholders, including developers, project managers, QA teams, and end-users, to ensure successful release management.

Identify and troubleshoot potential release management issues and provide resolutions.

Leads the implementation of new technology for release management efficiency.

Facilitate approval process for emergency and off-cycle releases.

Provide release management guidance and expertise to stakeholders.

Facilitate Improves data collection and delivery of release management and other organizational metrics.

Extensive use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Level: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelors degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.

Experience: 8 years relevant system/technical analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology

Knowledge of JIRA

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

Ability to motivate self and foster a culture of continuous improvement and agile execution.

Knowledge of system or analysis methods and evaluation criteria.

Knowledge of software development processes.

Knowledge of system analysis tools and techniques.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-based environment

Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence. Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.

Salary Range: $87,120 – $173,030

This compensation range is specific and considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilites of the position, the candidates work experience, education/training, internal peer equity, and market and business consideration.
