Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an onsite IT Solutions Center Technician to support one of our clients local PMO offices in Richmond, VA. This technician will be responsible for preforming routine maintenance on depot hardware. Providing comprehensive and timely resolution of all IT issues. They will be responsible for system updates, within the ticketing system. Provide operating system, troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, perform break/fix software & hardware support (including OEM-certified warranty repair). They will train on new products and services as they become part of supplier responsibilities. They will support field staff remotely with access services to include shipping replacement devices leveraging 3rd party hardware repair or other forms of onsite support. They will be supporting operations to include resolution of incidents, service requests and changes (e.g., IMAC, break/fix). Image including advisory and technical support for field staff. Some of the day to day may include asset disposal and maintain accurate asset inventory. Finally, they will also assist the solution center team Logistics to include shipping, receiving equipment.

The pay range for this role is between 15/hr and 20/hr based on experience.

Skills and Requirements

Associates or equivalent of 1-3 years of IT experience

Experience using warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and barcode scanners

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

A valid Virginia drivers license is required

Candidate must be able to successfully pass background check and (if applicable) clearance process (requirements vary) Dell Certified Technician, HP Certified Repair, Microsoft, Apple or related professional IT certifications

Logistics/inventory experience is a plus null
