Secret Senior Exchange Systems Admin

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Exchange Systems Admin to join one of our clients in Virginia Beach, VA. This Systems Admin is responsible for administration, maintenance, and cybersecurity defense of all client and server infrastructure used to support enterprise-wide modeling and simulation applications and services. It is a must for this candidate to have Exchange troubleshooting experience. The candidate will work in close coordination with other team members and departments to update, monitor and maintain servers and workstations used throughout the enterprise. Additional duties include performing Microsoft Windows server administration, manage GPOs, create/modify DHCP reservations, patching and STIGing, as well as, authoring standard operating procedures, training junior personnel, and performing Tier 2 technical support. Individual must be able to work independently and work within a team.

Compensation: $48/hr to $57/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems or related discipline. In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted for applicable work experience.

 Typically requires 10 years of related experience

 Security or equivalent certification

 Active secret clearance

 Experience with Microsoft WSUS or SCCM

 Experience with Windows Servers 2016/2019 and Active Directory

 Windows desktop operating systems (WIN10 SHB)

 RedHat desktop operating systems (RHEL 7/8) experience highly desired

 Experience digesting and implementing DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)

 Experience with patching Microsoft servers and workstations

 Experience with VMware and VDI technologies and protocols

 Ability to read and digest technical information

 Ability to troubleshoot technical issues within multiple systems

 Experience working with Exchange 2016 and Office 2019

 Experience with Exchange mail flow process and how to troubleshoot

 Experience with GPOs in relation to Exchange

 Experience with how AD, DCs, and DNS tie into Exchange

 Ability to use OWA to troubleshoot Outlook and Exchange

 Experience with Exchange Control Panel

 Experience with Database Availability Group (DAG) Server Focused highly desired

 Linux or Microsoft certification preferred

 Experience installing release upgrades highly preferred null
