Job Summary:

R3 seeks an EOD Software Integrator in direct support of EODGRU TWO to conduct operating system and intercommunication system status checks, update software/firmware to ensure equipment operating systems are up-to-date, function properly, and able to communicate with associated equipment prior to issue.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate efforts with various table of allowance (TOA) Custodians/Commodity Managers to integrate multiple TOA Systems/items.

Track trends related to software and firmware issues to inform TOA Custodians and recommend configurations and versions that can improve efficiency.

Maintain a master index of authorized software and firmware versions, and transmission frequencies used for EOD tools.

Disseminate software and firmware updates for remote updates, when necessary.

Forecast and research software and firmware requirements, and initiate Information Technology Procurement Request documentation when required.

Maintain user/maintainer manuals for software/firmware installed on EOD equipment and disseminate when required.

Provide software and firmware familiarity training when required.

Conduct necessary demilitarization procedures related to software/firmware when required.

Submit work candidates for deferred and completed software and firmware updates.

Qualifications:

Employee must have no less than two (2) years’ experience as an information technology systems administrator, possess the Computing Technology Industry Association A certification (or equivalent)

Have no less than one (1) year experience using Microsoft Teams.
