Position Summary:
Catalent Pharma Solutions in Morrisville, NC is hiring a Reliability Engineer for the Engineering and Site Services Group. The Reliability Engineer is responsible for supporting the manufacturing efforts for the commercial and clinical process of inhaled products (DPI and nasal), and other formulations compatible with the equipment at the Catalent Morrisville site. The Engineering and Site Services Group is a support function that is responsible for Capital Planning, developing a site capital plan that supports equipment re-fresh schedules and strategic initiatives. This responsibility includes providing engineer and maintenance support for manufacturing, managing drawing and preventative maintenance systems, and space planning.
This is a full-time position: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM.

The Role
Support manufacturing maintenance in maintaining of equipment and training of specific knowledge/tools mechanics should know to support production activities
Assist maintenance team with technical vendor support as needed
Develop, analyze, and review a variety of operational reports/data to examine equipment usage, preventative maintenance, efficiency, quality, and other areas and implement operational changes as required
Develop yield and efficiency optimization opportunities to ensure the efficient use of resources, maintain a safe environment, and produce quality products
Support capital projects to ensure equipment/fixture solutions are implemented into the manufacturing area in an effective and timely fashion, including aiding in the FAT, installation, commissioning, validation, and other related on-boarding activities
Ensure all applicable equipment is placed in a compliant preventative maintenance system
Oversee the reliability programs for all production equipment and production control systems in the plant
Drive the implementation of reliability engineering practices and programs in the plant
Design and implement maintenance procedures, maintenance management systems (i.e., CMMS), and spare parts inventory to assure compliance with fundamental maintenance standards and practices
Identify, plan, and implement key projects to improve quality, reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve cycle time by reducing wasted time, rework, etc. using site SME knowledge
All other duties as assigned;
The Candidate
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related field
5 or more years of experience working in maintenance
3 or more years of experience as an Equipment Engineer or similar role within a pharmaceutical environment
Must be able to convert strategy to actionable plan implementation to get results
Prior experience coordinating, facilitating, and organizing resources is required
Project management skills, including budget tracking, schedule development, and project reporting, is strongly preferred
Working knowledge of OSHA Safety requirements is required
Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds;
