Overview
SENIOR LOGISTICIAN (NSWC)
Bowhead seeks a Logistician to join our team in supporting the upcoming contract for the Battle Space Awareness Division Systems Configuration Management and Integrated Logistics Support in Charleston, SC. The Senior Logistician will be responsible for managing the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Flowcharts, and Procurement Action-Tracker.
Responsibilities
Attend Government and Contractor Meetings on behalf of the Navy Command Program Office, report critical information to the Program Office that requires decisions.
Draft and update program acquisition documentation to include Lifecycle Sustainment Plans, Fielding Plans, Disposal Plans, Naval Messages, and Stocklists for government review and acceptance. .
Participate in IPTs, working groups, and logistics review groups.
Develop Product Briefings and Presentation Materials to communicate FDST systems information to the user and Program Office personnel.
Support periodic validation and adjustment of Approved Acquisition Objectives (AAOs) and draft POM funding initiatives for Government review and approval.
Apply engineering and analytical disciplines required to implement life-cycle (acquisition) logistics as a multi-functional technical management discipline associated with the experimental development, design, development, test, production, fielding, sustainment, and improvement modifications of cost effective systems that achieve readiness requirements.
Conduct assessments of emerging technologies based on research, technical interchanges and other sources, and provide recommendations on the timing and appropriateness of integration of new and improved hardware and software solutions.
Qualifications
Masters or Bachelors Degree and ten to fifteen (10-15) years of experience
DAWIA III certification
Ten (10) years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, to include: logistics management, principles, practices, and processes.
Six (6) years of support with C4ISR systems, to include: Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures, and Developing Logistics Management Plans and Guidelines.
Experience supervising Logistics Specialists
Familiarity with the following:

The Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Acquisition Guide (MAG)
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 10-20 pounds
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location
