Maintenance Planner
Job Description:
Create maintenance schedules and generate work orders
Maintain parts inventory
Create procedural manuals that explain how to do certain tasks
Estimate costs of labor and parts for industrial equipment
Adjust schedules to account for unexpected emergency work
Assist and support maintenance manager
Serve as a liaison between maintenance and operations
Maintain records and files essential to maintenance management
Coordinate with maintenance staff, contractors, and external vendors
Prepare preventive maintenance plans that are aligned with the organization’s maintenance goals
Industrial Electrician requirements and qualifications
Must be able to identify and prioritize multiple projects and perform work with a constant awareness of improving processes.
Demonstrated capability to analyze and troubleshoot operational and equipment problems and provide reasonable and accurate recommendations and solutions.
Must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing to individuals; ability to present complex situations in a concise manner.
Must interact effectively with technical and professional contacts, as well as hourly workforce.
Must have excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal relationship skills.
Must have strong project management skills.
Computer skills are a must with knowledge of CMMS, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Ability to build partnerships across and between functional groups and lead a project.
Proven experience and effectiveness successfully managing a union hourly workforce is required.
Proven experience utilizing work management process to plan and schedule maintenance work.
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Villa Rica, Georgia.
Work Environment
Industrial setting with shifts available from Monday to Friday, including 1st shift (5am-3:30pm / 7am-5:30pm)
