Responsibilities:

• Design and develop complex network services, shelters, and cyber security components to meet project requirements.

• Create detailed designs and documentation, capturing technical specifications and architectural decisions in a C5ISR Systems Design Report.

• Develop software and Application Program Interfaces (APIs) to enable seamless integration between different components and systems.

• Provide Interface Control Documents (ICDs) to establish clear communication and interoperability guidelines for various system interfaces.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, developers, and project managers to ensure successful implementation of the designed systems.

• Drive innovation and recommend technology solutions that align with project goals and industry best practices.

• Deliver modernized equipment technical documentation, including accurate engineering drawings, software development plans, and comprehensive technical data packages.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in system architecture to continuously improve design practices.

• Participate in design reviews, discussions, and presentations to stakeholders, both internal and external.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Masters degree preferred. Must be ABET Accredited.

• Proven experience (2 years) in system architecture, design, and development within the defense, aerospace, or related industry.

• Strong expertise in designing network services, shelters, and cyber security systems, with a solid understanding of C5ISR principles.

• Proficiency in creating detailed technical documentation, including C5ISR Systems Design Reports, engineering drawings, and technical data packages.

• Extensive experience in software development and programming, including the creation of Application Program Interfaces (APIs).

• Knowledge of Interface Control Document (ICD) creation and management.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Familiarity with industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies in the field of system architecture.
