Accounts Payable Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Clerk to join. In this role, you will play a crucial part in streamlining new accounts payable processes, documenting new procedures, and managing past-due vendors while negotiating payment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in streamlining new accounts payable processes and document new procedures.

Manage past-due vendors and negotiate payment plans.

Forecast disbursements and ensure timely payments to vendors.

Present pressing vendor issues to the Board.

Prepare weekly payment proposals.

Prioritize critical vendors based on the company’s cash flow.

Process emergency payments and reconcile credit card expenses.

Prepare monthly billing reports for SAP.

Handle vendor communications and process payment runs via SAP.

Resolve invoicing issues.

Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.

Proficiency in SAP and other accounting software.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
