Payroll & Accounts Payable Clerk
Job Description
Payroll Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and process payroll, including reviewing and ensuring accuracy of approved timesheets.
Reconcile and process payroll-related disbursements, including taxes, health insurance, and other miscellaneous employee deductions and reimbursements.
Respond to and resolve any inquiries regarding paychecks.
Coordinate efforts between Payroll, Human Resources, and Finance.
Track employee-related expense budgets.
Additional payroll duties as needed by the company.
Accounts Payable Responsibilities:
Pursue, question and solve accounts payable problems.
Enter daily credit card receipts.
Maintain vendor contact information and change billing address for new accounts as needed.
Enter accounts payable invoices.
Maintain vendor liability and workers comp insurance certificates.
Maintain W-9 forms and prepare annual 1099 forms.
Reconcile credit card accounts.
Prepare manual checks as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of recent experience in Quickbooks to be applicable for this position.
Minimum of high school diploma.
Excellent skills using Excel, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office.
Previous experience processing payroll.
Excellent written, verbal, and online communication skills.
Ability to work with personnel at all levels of an organization.
Strong problem-solving and organization skills.
Ability to remain highly discreet and confidential.
Regular, timely, and predictable attendance.
Effective communication, cooperation and collaboration with others.
Evidence of being observant, detail oriented, and be a willing participant in a team atmosphere.
