About Mount Carmel Dublin:
Mount Carmel Dublin will be an innovative medical ambulatory campus directly tailored to the needs of the Dublin community and surrounding suburbs. Services provided:
24-bay emergency department
60 acute inpatient beds
4 operating rooms
Level 1 cardiac capability
Advanced imaging, and other outpatient testing
Attached MOB
The attached medical office building will provide a community education space in addition to clinic space for:
Primary Care, Neurology
Cardiology
Vascular
Other independent specialists
Mount Carmel plans to extend its community health and well-being programs into the Dublin community as well.
This position will be hired to staff Mount Carmel Dublin. While construction is underway, the majority of training will take place at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s located at 500 S Cleveland Ave, Westerville, OH 43081. We are expecting Mount Carmel Dublin to open Spring of 2025.

About the Unit:
The Inpatient Unit at Mount Carmel Dublin is a 30-bed, state of the art, patient care area designed to provide the ultimate patient experience. Twenty-six beds are dedicated to the Med/Surg and Intermediate levels of care, while 4 beds are dedicated Intensive Care Unit beds. Patient care assignments will be based on the acuity levels of the patients.
The patient rooms have been created to promote a holistic healing environment. We encourage family participation throughout the stay. There is the ability to utilize tele-health to enhance care needs. Multidisciplinary Rounds (MDRs) will occur on a daily basis to ensure that all patient needs are addressed and met. Ultimately, we want to ensure our patients are discharged home in a timely manner, to allow an expedient return to their normal daily routine. Our patients should experience our Vision, which is to be “the most trusted health partner for life.”
About the job:
The Clinical Educator provides consultation and education to patients, families, staff and physicians regarding the care of patients, assumes a leadership role in issues relating to patient care and acts as a change agent to support institutional initiatives pertaining to the care of patients.
What you will do:
Serves as a role model in the management of select patient populations through direct or indirect care; Acts as a leader in monitoring, evaluating and helping to establish the standard of practice.
Assesses the learning needs of colleagues within patient care settings in order to plan, organize, coordinate and participate in development and/or teaching of programs to meet those identified needs.
Develops, reviews, and revises standards of care, policies, procedures, practice guidelines, classes, and protocols of care to reflect current evidence based practice and changing technology
Promotes, participates in, or conducts on-going research in clinical practice.
Develops patient education materials that are easy-to-read/understand and culturally sensitive to ensure clinicians have the resources essential to support the educational need of the patient, family and community.
Utilizes all available platforms including written, electronic and web based services to provide education and promote learning including collaboration with other organizations on language access services to encompass diverse patient populations.
All other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
Education: Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited institution; or currently enrolled in a Masters degree in Nursing program with anticipated achievement within 2-3 years.
Licensure / Certification: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio; Professional certification(s) preferred; BLS Healthcare Provider training required.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years recent experience in area of specialization preferred.
Requires Critical-Care experience – this educator will be responsible for Med/Surg/Intermediate & Critical-Care levels of care.
Demonstrates leadership and teaching experience.
