Job Title: Line Leader

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Line Leader to oversee our production lines across various departments, including Materials, Logistics, Warehouse, Aluminum, Caliper Machining, and Caliper Assembly. In this role, you will ensure efficient operations by prioritizing orders and managing workflow on the line.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise production lines and lead daily operations.

Understand order priorities and manage the sequence of part production.

Maintain a visible presence on the line, ensuring smooth operations at all times.

Conduct lineside meetings, create work schedules, and ensure accurate production runs.

Facilitate effective communication between shifts and participate in hand-off meetings.

Verify that the line is stocked with the correct parts for each run and assist in sourcing parts as needed.

Oversee the training of new employees and enforce proper PPE usage.

Communicate staffing needs and other operational requirements to the supervisor.

Perform quality checks using gauges, calipers, and other measuring tools.

Be hands-on and ready to assist on the line as needed.

Address team issues and ensure adherence to FIFO processes.

Implement process improvements and adhere to 5S methodology.
