Lilly is currently constructing an advanced manufacturing facility for production of API molecules located in Lebanon, IN. This facility is Lilly’s largest investment in manufacturing capacity and is intended to provide APIs for current and future products, including new modalities. This is an outstanding opportunity to be a part of the Lebanon Plant 1 (LP1) team for the startup and expansion of a greenfield manufacturing site. The successful candidate will help to build the organization, the facility and the culture to enable a successful startup into GMP manufacturing operations.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field
Two (2) years of applicable experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or other regulated industries.
Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role.
Some critical things youll do in this role:
Business partnering, and Project Cost controls
Serve as liaison between Project Teams and Corporate Finance/Tax/Accounting groups
Collaborate with Project Controls to report monthly Project Cost KPIs and discuss course corrections with Capital Project Lead Teams.
Advise the business and partner with Procurement to enhance capital investment value by identifying cost savings, driving productivity, and implementing best practices and operational improvements.
Support Project Teams on preparation of financial materials to be present at Capital Investment Committee (CIC) and Steering Teams
Assist business partners in controlling operational readiness capital spending, operations capital labor, and identifying operational cost-saving opportunities.
Support the Local Capital processes for the new site following Global Engineering standards
Financial Planning, Accounting and Compliance
Support the processes for cashflow strategic plan, quarterly forecasts, and annual business plan
Support the monthly capital financial closing, including preparation of accounting journal vouchers, accrual support and documentation
Develop asset creation plans along with Project Controls teams
Provide guidance to the Project teams on financial policies, SOx / internal controls, costing, and accounting matters
Influence Project teams, Project Controls Cost teams and Site Lead team to meet the project goals and cost targets
Additional Information:
The position will be located onsite at the Lebanon, Indiana LP1 Site. Initial location will be at Lilly Corporate Center until Lebanon site is operational.
Periodic travel may be required to other sites (10%).
