Electrical Test Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Test EngineerJob Description

We are seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to develop and maintain test set software for testing electronic components of Radar systems. The engineer will create instrumentation device drivers for new test equipment and update existing software to address deficiencies and implement new test techniques. Responsibilities include taking system interfaces, collaborating with various engineers to prototype, integrate, and establish hardware solutions for fleet asset sustainment, and developing test procedures for future testing of new features.

Hard Skills

5 years of experience in hardware interfacing

Bachelors degree in relevant field

Experience with software test programming of test consoles

Experience with MATLAB and/or HP/Transera BASIC

Wiring diagram development experience using Solid Edge (preferred but not required)

Understanding of electrical lab test tools

Soft Skills

Ability to work on independent tasks

Collaborative team player

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 10 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Bloomfield, Indiana and some days remote.

Work Environment

Onsite at naval base 3-4 times per week, working in an engineering development office and occasionally in a test lab within a division of 100 engineers.
