Summary
The purpose of a Utility/Sanitation Associate is to pull hatcher buggies, wash/sanitize hallways, perform BMP duties, and assist in open positions during absences. Scheduled hours of work for non-exempt associates are determined by management to meet business needs. Overtime and/or on-call support may be scheduled as needed and only when approved by management.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform sanitation duties.
Assist with service line duties (declaw, debeak, inject, stack boxes).
Assist with clean room duties.
Load Trucks.
Tray eggs
Assist maintenance as needed.
Cross-train on all jobs in hatchery.
Assist management with special projects as needed.
Minimum Education
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience Requirements
Strong reading, writing, and communication skills.
Strong math and analytical skills.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Exposure to wet concrete surfaces with personal protection equipment provided.
Must be able to bend, squat, stoop, pull, lift, and climb for 3-hour intervals.
Must be able to lift a maximum of 20 pounds over head.
