Job Description
The robotics technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repair, programming, and some installation of robots and manufacturing equipment to ensure well-running, efficient plant operations. There are roughly 60 Fanuc and ABB robots in the plant that these technicians will service and maintain. The technician will be allocated to 1-2 specific cells and perform all PMs, reactive maintenance, robotic adjustments, and some programming if necessary. The role involves working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems up to 480v.

2 immediate openings on 2nd shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM Monday-Friday with some overtime as needed

This is a fully on-site position in Portage, Michigan.
Work Environment
The company is a well-respected supplier of aluminum extruded component parts serving the appliance, office furniture, consumer durable, and automotive product markets. This facility manufactures roof rail systems and running boards for the Ford F-150 and Bronco.
