Registered Medical Assistant

Do you have a passion for working with individuals receiving behavioral healthcare services? Would you like to be a valuable member of a diversity driven, mission-minded team that impacts our community? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to work as a full-time (40 hours/wk) RMA with our Integrated Healthcare Team.

What You Will Be Doing
Working as an Registered Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for working with the RN team to ensure that persons served in our integrated health home have excellent medical and psychiatric care.  This includes: taking vital signs, measuring mechanical indicators, assisting with scheduling appointments, following up on referrals, working on medication prior authorizations, ordering supplies, and other directives assigned. This position provides a consistent Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm work schedule. 

What We Require
High School diploma, or GED, and experience in medical office practice is required. A strong understanding of services for psychiatric and substance use consumers, and a strong recovery philosophy is desired. Lived experiences with behavioral health issues are desired.  Advanced computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, database management, experience with an electronic medical records and e-mail.

Physical Efforts – Job demands include prolonged sitting and standing as appropriate. May occasionally require light lifting up to 25 pounds, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or bending as appropriate. Requires coordination of hands and/or eye/hand/foot.
