Job Description
Essential Functions:
• Executes the NPI (New Product Introduction) build plan by directing a team of specialists, ensuring new products are introduced on time and meet quality standards.
• Drives a safety-first culture within the team and leads by example.
• Facilitates training for the NPI team, providing supervision and guidance as required.
• Communicates progress updates and manages troubleshooting across teams and functional areas.
• Maintains an organized work area (5S) including workstations, equipment, and walkways.
• Participates and contributes to continuous improvement projects to drive efficiency and innovation.
• Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance; works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
• Responsible for labor transaction maintenance functions for the team and Encompix on routing operations.
• Responsible for the performance management cycle for all direct staff.
• Respectfully takes direction from the NPI Manager and performs other duties as assigned.
Hard Skills
Intermediary knowledge of MS Word programs, mostly Excel
Lead/Supervisory experience (preferably 3 years)
Mechanical parts assembly
Ability to interpret blueprints and shop layouts
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Saugerties, New York.
Work Environment
Growing manufacturing company; designs and manufactures machinery. Biggest clients are Veeco & ASML.
1st Shift: 6:00AM – 3:30PM, Mon-Friday.
