As a Clinical Surveillance Team Nurse Supervisor, youll work with the Clinical Surveillance Team (CST), which monitors and manages the pre-emergent and emergent clinical deterioration of adult non-ICU patients for our Ronald Reagan Hospital. The CST plays a vital role in independently identifying and managing patients at risk of further decline, focusing on rapid prevention and intervention. This includes conditions such as sepsis, strokes (CVA), respiratory issues, and cardiac events. You will be responsible for recognizing, assessing, and coordinating clinical surveillance data, adjusting patient care plans, and communicating updates to the healthcare team.
In this leadership role, you will also oversee the administrative coordination of the Clinical Surveillance Program, including the Medical Emergency Team (MET), Rapid Response, Code Blue, and Code Stroke teams.
This position requires assignments at both UCLA Health Ronald Reagan and UCLA Health Santa Monica hospital.
Salary Range: $59.67-$138.60
Qualifications
Current valid CA RN License, required
BSN or MSN, required
3-5 years of ICU experience as RN, required
Previous Relief Charge or Charge Nurse experience, required
Rapid/Code Team experience, preferred
BLS from the ARC or AHA and ACLS are required
CCRN Certification, preferred
