Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18 – $18 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employees pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

What youll be doing as a Shipping And Receiving Clerk:

Oversee and evaluate all activities at the shipping dock to ensure safe and efficient loading of freight

Dispatch incoming orders and distribute them to the warehouse team

Verify the accuracy of orders picked by the warehouse team

Enter data such as addresses, quantities, and weights to complete shipment paperwork

Ensure the correct shipping method is used for customer orders

Maintain a database of shipment data to keep customer orders updated and provide billing documents to customer service and finance

Notify the supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions

Prepare bills of lading for shipments

Transport materials on the shipping dock using a hand truck or other vehicle as needed

Load trucks or railroad cars using a forklift

Ensure product handling and delivery meet customer expectations

Keep records of shipments and file packing slips according to company practices

Perform other related duties as assigned

General labor duties as assigned by customer.

Helping move rail cars, shovel, swepping, moping, debris clean up

Lifting up to 50lb-75lbs.

Shift Timings – 1st Shift (Day)

Job Requirements:

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Basic understanding of truck freight rates

Strong knowledge of safety policies and best practices

Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
