Job Title: 2nd Shift Assembler- $19-21/hr
Job Description
Please note that this is a contract-to-hire position. Candidates must be aware and comfortable with the fact that the role may not become permanent at the 6-month mark and could take longer to transition. Discuss this with all candidates before interviewing.
All candidates must be open to working during weekdays and on Saturdays when needed. Candidates may start an hour before the shift time.
Shift Information:
– Assembler I: $19.50 per hour (1 year of manufacturing experience with microscope) $1.50 Shift Differential
– Assembler II: $21.00 per hour (1 year medical device experience with microscope) $1.50 Shift Differential
The Assembler I, under direct supervision, uses various tools, fixtures, work instructions, and test equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble and test medical devices.
Responsibilities:
1. Understand and follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
2. Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System.
3. Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Project Engineer/Supervisor.
4. Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.
5. Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment
Manufacturing. Candidates will be working in the cleanroom 100% of the time in close stations.
