Note: The pay rate for this job is $23- $32 / hour

Responsibilities:

Apprentice, Journey Level Painters and Painter Helpers.

Removing old paint, filling holes, washing walls

Using sandpaper, wire brushes, and abrasive blasting to prepare surfaces

Sealing cracks and corners where building materials meet

Applying various finishes to equipment, buildings, bridges, or other structures

Applying primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces, such as bare wood or metal, for finish coats

Mixing colors or oils to obtain desired color or consistency

 Qualifications:

Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

Prior experience in carpentry with minimum 3 years of experience

Self-sufficient and fully tooled in the trade
