Help Desk Specialist

DeVine is a leading provider of Technical and Scientific solutions for Federal, State and commercial clients.
Our company is looking for a Help Desk Specialist to join our team in Monterey, CA. This position will be supporting a government customer, hence only US Citizens may apply.
The Help Desk Specialist will join DeVine, and collaborate with our government customer onsite, Mondays through Fridays. If you have the relevant experience & attributes, and enjoy working in the Monterey area, then we want you on our team!
Responsibilities:
Answering and remediating trouble calls during business hours
Answering all Tier 1 calls, create and remediate Tier 1 tickets
Escalate issues to Tier 2 as appropriate and remediate all Tier 2 escalations
Be responsible for the implementation and operation of an integrated system of hardware and software applications designed to support mission of providing in-resident programs and mobile education events
Troubleshoot all of the above systems on a continuous basis, either through direct interaction or remote connection
Develop guides and instructions for participants on the IT resources available during their residency, and how to connect their personal laptops, smartphones, etc. to wireless networks
Experience:
Comprehensive knowledge of various computer operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, etc.), techniques, requirements and methods, including systems management software concepts and functions in order to install, maintain, and repair computer hardware and software
Current CompTIA Security desired
U.S. Citizenship
Bachelors Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university a plus

Position Type: Full-time hourly, Must be U.S. Citizen

Compensation: $17.60 per hour max rate
