Job Description

We are seeking dedicated forklift operators to work in either our Production Department or Warehouse Department.

Warehouse:

– Unload raw materials from semi-trucks (bins of vegetables, barrels, palletized products such as glass, lids, labels, film).

– Load palletized finished products onto semi-trucks.

– Depalletize shipments into smaller orders manually (heaviest item is 25 pounds).

Production:

– Bring raw materials from the warehouse to the production lines.

– Move finished products to the warehouse for staging/prepping to be loaded on trucks.

Hard Skills

Sit down forklift (gas or electric)

2 fork forklift operation

Loading and unloading

Understanding loading patterns

SAP System

Inventory processes

Forklift safety

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 5 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in American Canyon, California.

Work Environment

2nd shift 2:30PM – 10:30PM. Flexibility required for a 2PM start time and overtime.

Fast-paced food production facility with confined spaces and liquid on the floor from vegetable juices.

GMP regulated environment requiring hand washing, hair nets, beard nets, and BLUE smocks.

No nails, lashes, polish, jewelry, or earrings allowed.

Exposure to strong smells from pepperoncini, jalapenos, and olives.
