The expected pay range for a Merchandising Specialist in Hilo:

Merchandising Specialist I: $18.00 per hour

Merchandising Specialist II: $18.50 to $21.15 per hour

HPM Building Supply in Hilo, Hawaii is seeking to hire a full-time Merchandising Specialist to save the day by ensuring that our retail store is fully stocked. Not only does the Merchandising Specialist stage incoming freight and stock shelves, but this position also ensures inventory counts are accurate and locates missing products.

The typical schedule for this Merchandising Specialist position has two shifts:

Monday-Friday, 12:30 pm – 9:00 pm and 1:30 pm – 10:00pm

Some overtime and weekend work may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Merchandising or inventory experience is preferred

Customer service experience is a plus

Previous forklift experience is helpful but not required

Basic computer skills

Must be able to twist, bend, squat, reach, and climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods of time

Ability to lift 50 lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation
