Legal Project Manager
Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is a national law firm with a proven reputation for providing progressive, industry-leading legal, business, regulatory and government relations advice to our regional, national and international clients.
We are currently searching for a Legal Project Manager role for our Philadelphia, PA location. The project manager will provide appropriate administrative support such as calendaring, file maintenance, opening matters, assigning tasks, and e-filing.
Our Firm currently operates on a hybrid work schedule. Employees work in the office three days per week and work two days remotely from home.
A dedicated project manager will handle the following:
Running conflicts and opening matters;
Calendaring due dates, hearing dates, etc.;
Keeping track of personnel working on cases in a variety of jurisdictions;
Preparing form documents such as entries of appearances, and pro hac vice applications;
Organizing and maintaining cases files,;
Processing requests for settlement payments; and
Electronic filings with various courts. Required Education/Experience:
High diploma or equivalent required, Bachelors degree preferred
No prior law firm experience required, but a desire to learn legal project management is essential
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to organize and prioritize workload and anticipate needs
Outstanding written and verbal communications
Ability to professionally interact with clients, attorneys and staff
Ability to work overtime, as required
