Pharmacy Technician will work in the Shipping and Purchasing department within Home Infusion and Long Term Care Pharmacy. Technician will need to create shipping labels, schedule/coordinate shipments, prioritize shipments depending on when they need to go out, track packages, talk on the phone with courier companies, work with the Pharmacy department and more. May also be asked to pack prescriptions from time to time as well as handle returned prescriptions. Willing to consider new or seasoned tech – as long as they are certified. Need to understand importance of prescriptions and medications. Accuracy & understanding of importance of getting package on-time to patient is paramount-Each patient has over 10 medications. This makes 250-400 packages a day to patients. The role is very important and fast-paced. Also very repetitive and can be tedious.
MUST HAVE
Pharmacy Technician experience
GED or HS Diploma
Oregon Pharm Tech License or Certification
6 months of experience

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Portland, Oregon.
Work Environment
M-F 10:30am-7pm. Overtime possible and flexibility expected. Business casual, jeans ok. Spencer Alley is team lead, this is who they will be reporting to on a daily basis.
