Job Description:
Join General Dynamic Information Technology’s (GDIT’s) Defense Division to provide support for the Defense Enterprise Office Solution (DEOS) Cloud Service Offering contract.
How the Sr. Project Manager will make an impact:
Responsible for all aspects of project development and implementation from Task Order pre-award to Task Order close out.
Serves as a single point of contact. Interfaces with all parties involved in the project including DEOS PMO, customers, subcontractors, developers, administrators, and engineers .
Gathers customer requirements to establish project scope and objectives. Prepares detailed schedules, project estimates, and status reports.
Allocates resources to facilitate the successful completion of projects. Coordinates and conducts meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
Reviews deliverables and ensures adherence to quality standards. Manages the integration of vendor tasks, and evaluates vendor deliverables.
Provides recommendations and takes action to resolve any management related issues.
Full responsibility for Task Order Management.
Leads team on large projects or significant segments within large complex projects.
Translates customer requirements into formal agreements and plans to culminate in customer acceptance of results, while meeting Task Order performance requirements and GDIT business objectives.
Works with customer to identify business requirements and develops the proposal.
Subsequently leads a team in the initiating, planning, controlling, executing, and closing tasks of a project segment of a projectto produce the solution deliverable.
Executes a wide range of process activities beginning with the request for proposal through development, test and final delivery.
Formulates partnerships between customer, suppliers and staff. Anticipates potential project related problems.
Utilizes refined techniques for identifying, eliminating or mitigating solutions to projectand business risks.
Understands customer, industry and business trends. Applies this understanding to meet project objectives.
As appropriate, challenges the validity of given procedures and processes with a view toward enhancement or improvement.
Analyzes information and situations and implement actions, independently and or through the management team to ensure project objectives are met. Analyzes new and complex projectrelated problems and creates innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.
What youll need to be successful:
· Minimum active DoD Secret clearance; May required Top Secret clearance
· BA/BS with 8 years of experience (additional years of experience and/or certifications may be considered in place of education)
· Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment
· Two years experience managing Cloud Service Offering Projects
· PMP, ITIL, SixSigma certifications are a plus

The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 – $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
