Lawyer Fellow
Alliance Defending Freedom is looking for a highly professional Lawyer Fellow to join us in our Lansdowne, VA office. As a Lawyer Fellow, you are a vital part of the Legal Advocacy Team and will advocate within a multidisciplinary, collaborative environment. In a yearlong program, Fellows will work with and assist experienced attorneys with practices focused on providing analysis, counsel, and legal services in a non-litigation role. Fellows will provide legal research, assess legal risks, develop legal strategy, and advise internal and external clients, gaining valuable experience in client management, research, writing, and legal analysis. Fellows may also contribute to public policy through legal scholarship and public advocacy.
Your Essential Responsibilities:
In this position, you will:
Collaborate with the team to strategically assess, develop, and initiate legal advocacy that advances the objectives of ADF
Develop new cases and advocacy projects and identify and assist prospective clients and witnesses
Prepare and review legal documents
Advise on complex legal issues impacting litigation and administrative proceedings
Network and develop relationships with allied attorneys, and/or potential allied attorneys
Travel occasionally
Other Responsibilities (Non-Essential):
You will be asked to perform related duties or special projects as assigned by your Team Leader.
