Purpose 

The Installation Engineering Manager will lead and develop a skilled team, ensuring proficiency in best practices and technology for supporting customer installations across our product suite. They will set and track team objectives, handle escalated issues and above all else, ensure our customer installation experience is a great one. 

 

Responsibilities 

Develop and lead a high performing and highly engaged team. Support the team to continuously develop their skillset and utilize best practice methodologies and technology. Continue ensuring all team members are trained to support installations and customers across our full product suite. 

With the Head of Customer Operations, develops objectives for the team that support the delivery of wider organizational goals. Measure and holds the team accountable for delivery of these, reporting out to internal stakeholders as required. Identify any potential performance issues early and work collaboratively with other teams as required to resolve. 

Provide technical support and guidance to Installation Engineers. 

With the Principal Installation Engineer, work with leaders on upcoming technology and make recommendations on how to incorporate into our business practices. Document the resulting installation processes, and the teams training requirements. 

Bring innovative ideas and best practice techniques to our installation process to ensure it remains fit for purpose and delivering customer satisfaction as the organization continues to scale. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and velocity by simplifying processes, reducing waste and increasing automation. 

Work directly with our customers, our customer success team, and software engineering teams to resolve escalated customer impacting issues.
