Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Inventory Management Specialist in the Acquisition Management Division, Production Department of NAVMEDREADLOGCMD. Responsibilities You will direct, coordinate, and oversee the work of inventory management staff. You will be responsible for the inventory, accountability, and reporting of Minor Property. You will perform supply/acquisition management processes including management and control of assigned material items. You will be responsible for overseeing all command requisition document preparation using Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) System. You will serve as a Command Approving Official for the Government Purchase Card Program. You will ensure compliance with acquisition and financial audit directives in preparation for audits. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience monitoring, analyzing and evaluating inventory management program and supply acquisition services to recommend improvements and resolve problems to meet agency requirements; Experience using inventory management systems such as the Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) and the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) System, or similar systems to account for and manage property programs; Experience having oversight and accountability over control of supplies, equipment, materiel management phases and funding to lead subordinates in procurement operations by most efficient and economical means possible.
