Junior Operations Research Analyst

Apogee Solutions, a Woman-Owned Small Business, is seeking a Junior Operations Research Analyst to support the Joint CONUS Directed Over-the-horizon Radar (J-CONDOR) Joint Test (JT). Qualified candidates must be a U.S. citizen and possess an active DOD SECRET clearance.

The Junior Operations Research Analyst will be responsible for performing statistical analysis using statistical software for the collection, archival, retrieval, and analysis of test data. The J-CONDOR JT is responsible for addressing operational challenges by developing tactics, techniques, and procedures that enable Joint forces to maintain freedom of maneuver in a Joint Operational area.

The Junior Operations Research Analyst will:

– Support the development of a detailed test plan (DTP) with detailed data management and analysis plans that identify procedures for collection, management, analysis, and evaluation of test data.
– Assist withcollecting, managing, storing, retrieving and manipulating test data. This may include conducting data verification tests, identifying data discrepancies as well as detection and resolution of data anomalies or missing data.
– Conduct trial reconstruction and analysis of test data to include calculating measures and performing appropriate statistical tests.
– Draw conclusions from test findings to answer test questions and help develop an assessment of problem statement resolution.
– Provide data collector training, which covers proper handling of and processing of data.

Required Experience:

– Active SECRET clearance
– Bachelors degree in operations research, engineering, mathematics, computer science, physics or other related technical field AND 3 years of experience in operations research methods/techniques, data management techniques/processes OR Masters Degree AND 1 year of relevant experience
