Kelly Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our client’s team.
Candidates should be able to develop and maintain mechanical systems and components using their knowledge of math, physics, and technology to analyze problems and create solutions.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Design: Using computer-aided design (AutoCAD) software to create blueprints, layouts, and plans for mechanical devices
Research: Analyzing the feasibility, design, and performance of equipment and systems
Testing: Developing and testing prototypes to assess how changes could improve performance
Working with manufacturing and QC to ensure compliance with design criteria.
Maintenance: Modifying and maintaining products and the processes that support them
Safety: Ensuring projects meet all relevant mechanical safety regulations
Communication: Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners
QUALIFICATIONS
Mechanical engineering degree (Bachelor’s or Associates)
Project Management experience
Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
Skilled in AutoCAD software
Basic knowledge of piping, instrumentation diagrams
Excellent computer skills required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to travel as required and represent the company on a professional level
Outstanding research and investigative skills
Ability to work well with others
