The Senior Field Coordinator role at Abiomed will provide diverse administrative and subject matter expert support to the US Commercial Effectiveness Director, Area Vice Presidents, Regional Directors, Field Sales personnel, and home office personnel within a high growth environment.
Utilizing Microsoft Office and other programs, the Senior Field Coordinator will maintain information encompassing the highest level of confidentiality, make decisions in support of the field sales organization and interact with all levels of the workforce including business partners, customers, affiliates, and faculty. This individual will adhere to company retention policies, maintain performance documents, and customer exchange documentation. The Senior Field Coordinator will manage and assist the managers in certain employee-related activities such as onboarding, off-boarding, and transfers of the employees. This individual frequently consults with business partners and field sales on function-specific policies and procedures and prepares communications, presentations, custom reports, and sales analyses.
The Senior Field Coordinator will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Responsible for leading a team of coordinators, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Project Management – Lead the planning, execution, and completion of projects within specified deadlines.
Team Leadership – Provide mentorship and guidance to a team of coordinators, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Communication – Facilitate clear and timely communication among team members and relevant partners to ensure alignment.
Risk Management – Identify potential risks and develop strategies to address them to ensure project success.
Continuous Improvement – Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Engagement – Build and maintain positive relationships to foster collaboration and support for project objectives.
Assist in helping the largest integration in med tech
Identifies opportunity to support key accounts and high-value customers to ensure they are knowledgeable about the organization’s products and solutions to successfully utilize them to achieve their business objectives.
Improves sales administration and operational processes, optimizes processes, and collaborates with senior management to analyze, evaluate, and implement improvements identified.
Ensures accurate data is compiled within performance dashboards to assess sales performance, track sales reports, and monitor critical metrics to remain well-versed on sales team capabilities and hindrances.
Guides lower-level team members in developing knowledge of product information and troubleshooting processes, major innovations regarding sales and customer management systems, and relevant metrics that evaluate sales performance.
Collaborate frequently with senior management to solve complex problems regarding project, department, or division-related work.
Qualifications
High school diploma required. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of administrative experience required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Outlook is required.
Experience with Ariba, Concur software preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work both as a team member and independently are required.
The ability to take initiative, be results oriented and manage multiple competing deliverables simultaneously is required.
Strong analytical and presentation skills are preferred.

The base compensation for the role is between $52,800 to $84,755. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year
Sick time – up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year
