Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Senior Manager Facilities Management (FM) Site Leader to join our Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Supply Chain organization located in Wilson, North Carolina.
This role may require periods of increased travel to support startup activities based on functional needs and project timelines. In some cases, this could involve frequent travel and/or short-term stays with vendors, sister companies, or partners. In steady state, we expect travel to be <10%.

As the Sr. Manager FM Site Lead, you will own overall accountability for driving Enterprise Facilities Management (EFM) capabilities within one assigned site facility while providing oversight of any facilities management outsourcing partners (including, but not limited to: Physical Plant Maintenance, Food Services, Security, Housekeeping, Mailroom, Pest Control, etc.). This position serves as a single point of accountability and will deliver a quality, safe, compliant, and productive workplace environment within the site, with a high-touch customer service orientation. Also, responsible for Facilities Business Continuity and support the Strategic projects and Capital Investment.
A suitable candidate for this role will have experience in facilities maintenance operations, infrastructure management, space management, and onsite employee and business services within a site (manufacturing and non-manufacturing).
Key relationships include managing outsourced vendors and establishing clear lines of engagement with site-level business customers, Regional and Sub-Regional FM leadership, the Global Workstreams Organization, and select key Support Partners (e.g., Finance, MAM, IT, HR, EHS, GHS and / or Procurement).
This position reports directly to the Sub-Regional Lead role.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for facilities services, ensuring optimum conditions and encouraged levels of service.
Financial management of Business Plan, and management of long-range financial planning, based on the Asset Risk and Compliance structure.
Manage resources and influence team members to deliver on budget, quality, efficiency, and EHS requirements.
Lead IFM model organization structure and Governance, assuring supplier delivery of key performance indicators.
Develop and implement strategies to improve facility performance and sustainability, ensuring consistent alignment with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to successfully implement engineering solutions.
Coordinate, monitor and report the maintenance, operation, and compliance of the facilities and related equipment.
Lead and mentor a diverse team of facilities professionals to achieve ambitious goals.
Ensure compliance with external and internal requirements. Ensure site facilities are compliant with good commercial, laboratory and manufacturing practices, and other regulations
Share E&PS key performance metrics, benchmarks, and methodologies to establish a high performance and continuous improvement culture
Implement and maintain business continuity plans and infrastructure management programs
Support Project Development and Delivery teams on capital and infrastructure projects
Ability to recognize and communicate emerging site issues to the business and to the Sub-Regional lead
Ability to adapt emerging standard methodologies and industry innovations
Responsible for site specific data and information to support regional and global metrics, programs and performance analysis
Strong communication skills both written and oral, including presentation to small and large groups of people.
Coordinate between business units and contractors during planning / construction as needed
Coordinate inspections on site, as needed
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelors degree or equivalent degree preferably in Facilities Management, Engineering, or Architecture
Proven experience in Facilities Management or Engineering roles.
A minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience (CRE/Facilities in a GMP product manufacturing plant environment)
Knowledgeable in utility-based systems (e.g., chilled water, steam boilers, compressed air, emergency generators)
Proven budget and financial leadership skills
Experience managing in-house contractors
Preferred:
Demonstrated knowledge in both technical and business disciplines
Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Proven success in achieving project goals
Knowledge of compliance in EHS, Factory Mutual, and other relevant regulatory standards
Relevant certifications (e.g., IFMA, CEM)
Experience with sustainability and green building initiatives
Strong track record of local collaboration, ensuring project completion and people development
Ability to maintain both strategic and tactical focus

This position requires availability for traveling, working extended hours, and might be required to work on holidays and weekends.
