About the Position:We are looking for a dedicated Residential Advisor to join our team at the Brunswick Job Corps Center. This role is vital in guiding and mentoring our students, ensuring they thrive in a positive group living environment and succeed in the Job Corps program. Key Responsibilities:

– Mentor students to develop a positive attitude, good behavior, and achieve their goals within the dormitory setting.
– Coordinate with counselors for student support and arrange necessary visits.
– Engage in and facilitate unit activities, including promoting unit government.
– Regularly patrol and monitor dormitories, ensuring student safety and appropriate behavior.
– Handle administrative tasks such as preparing reports, managing pass lists, and maintaining correspondence.
– Lead dormitory maintenance efforts, directing students in cleanup activities.
– Manage supplies for dorm living and student safety.
– Maintain thorough and up-to-date student files and documentation.
– Enter case notes into the center information system.
– Foster a safe living environment and encourage positive peer leadership.
– Conduct group sessions and teach independent living skills.
– Uphold Job Corps Zero Tolerance Policy and model career success standards.
