The Opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Vehicle Cleaner and Fueler to join our team at the Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida. As a Vehicle Cleaner and Fueler, you will be responsible for ensuring the entire fleet of vehicles is fueled and cleaned on a scheduled basis as directed. Responsibilities

Remove trash, clean seats, sweep and mop floors, and clean other interior areas of the vehicles.

Wash and buff the outside windows of the vehicles.

Drive vehicles between cleaning and storage areas or to field locations when required.

Perform minor repairs and refurbishment to internal fixtures of the vehicles as directed.

Always maintain a safe and clean working area in line with company regulations and policies.

Qualifications

At least 3 months experience driving 35 to 45 vehicles.

Minimum of 3 months experience using automatic bus vehicle wash systems.

Possess a valid Florida Class B Commercial Drivers License with the P Endorsement required.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.

Constant standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and repetitive motions.

Ability to remain standing for the entire length of shift.

Requires work outdoors in all weather conditions and on coaches with the presence of fumes, dust, and noise.
